A Night in Bloom will showcase The Center for Arts at the Armory as a vital home for the arts in Somerville through compelling performances, recognition of cultural honorees, and delightful beverages and bites.
The event headliner is Balla Kouyate, a renowned balafon player and “djeli” originally from Mali and currently based in Medford, MA, who has been recognized as an NEA National Heritage Fellow. DJ Saucy Lady will be spinning throughout the night, with pop-up appearances by students from Deborah Mason Performing Arts Center. Guitarist Maurizio Fiore Salas will be performing for the VIP Hour.

The event will take place inside of the Armory Performance Hall. The in-person VIP Hour begins at 6pm and general admission begins at 7pm.
