The City of Somerville and the Fluff Planning Team have been keeping a close eye on this weekend's weather, just as I'm sure all of you Fluff lovers have been too! 

Public safety is the City and team's highest concern and after a thorough discussion about tomorrow's weather, the difficult decision has been made to move the most flufftastic day of the year to this Sunday, September 24 from 3-7pm. 

Although it looks like we'll be dancing in the rain either way, Sunday's forecast will provide for a much more fluffalicious celebration for us all.

What the Fluff? A Tribute to Union Square Innovation is a madcap festival honoring the invention of Marshmallow Fluff, returning for its 18th year. It celebrates Somerville’s proud tradition of innovation with live music, fluffalicious feasts, sticky games, zany happenings, and much more on Sunday, September 23 from 3-7pm in Union Square (rain date has been activated). 

Celebrate this iconic condiment with fellow Fluff lovers in Union Square, the longstanding home of this funky festival. This year’s theme Fluff Union: The Sweetest Square in Somerville showcases delightful and delectable tastes, sweet sights and sounds, incredible innovations, and community, sweet, community!  

Discover tasty local treasures at your favorite neighborhood businesses, raise a pint of Fluff with friends old and new, dance in the streets, and make sweet memories at the most flufftastic end-of-summer celebration in New England. Just like Union Square, there’s something for everyone! The 18th Annual Fluff Fest will most certainly leave you wanting s’more. 

Come by foot, bike, bus, or the Green Line subway stop for an unforgettable afternoon of adventure in a neighborhood brimming with discovery.
