The Center for Arts at the Armory welcomes Grammy Award® nominated Sweet Honey in the Rock to the stage as part of our Spotlight Series in March 2023. The musical collective’s most recent album release, #LoveInEvolution, is the 24th recording in their legacy of tight harmonies and arts-based activism that spans four decades. Sweet Honey in the Rock and its core founding members: Nitanju Bolade Casel, Aisha Kahlil, Carol Maillard, and Louise Robinson have toured the world with their powerful sound.
Sweet Honey in the Rock’s potent and rich sound has garnered them a worldwide following; the women strive to reach and connect with their diverse audience base. Sweet Honey in the Rock has strong ties to the Deaf community and ensures all their live performances include a sign language interpreter.
Doors open at 7PM and the show starts at 8PM.
