Learn how to knit with local knitwear designer Jules of Juliette Pécaut Designs! You’ll learn how to make a pair of cozy fingerless mitts and maybe discover your new favorite hobby — knitting is the perfect activity for curling up by the fire, watching holiday movies, and hibernating through the winter!
This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to learn a new skill. Knitting is a relaxing, fun hobby with many mental health benefits, as well as the practical reward of a cozy knitted item. All the materials needed to knit a pair of fingerless mitts will be provided: 100% wool yarn, knitting needles, knitting notions, and an instruction card with a link to a full video tutorial so you can complete your project at home.
If you've never held knitting needles before, this is the workshop for you! Come get festive and learn the joy of knitting!
What you'll take home:
The yarn, knitting needles, and darning needle you’ll need to complete your mitts (we won’t finish knitting them in class, but don’t worry, you’ll also receive an instruction card and link to a full video tutorial!). Attendees receive a 20% discount to shop the art and gifts after the event.
About the venue:
This workshop is hosted hosted by Lunch City Studio. All attendees are required to wear a N95/K95 face masks. You can bring your own or Lunch City Studio can provide one. The studio is wheelchair accessible, but the restroom is not. The restroom is down one flight of stairs.
Cancellation policy: Attendees can cancel their seat up to 7 days before the workshop for a full refund. Within 7 days, tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer your seat to someone else.
