Join the Somerville Community Growing Center for a Maple Syrup Boil Down!
The 2020 Somerville Maple Syrup Project is coordinated by the Somerville Community Growing Center with the help of the Friends of the Community Growing Center, Tufts University, Remnant Brewery, Neighborhood Restaurant, and many volunteers!
They’ve tapped local sugar maple trees on the Tufts Campus and are collecting the sap with volunteers from the community. Join the Boil Down and experience the process of boiling sap into maple syrup! Taste fresh local syrup, learn how to make your own, and connect with other folks in the community!
This event is free to all!
