Performances 2014

Schedule for the Main Performance Stage

Federator N°1 is a 12 piece afrobeat, afro-dance band, and a key instigator in Boston's musical movements. Bringing Fela Kuti to the Fluff Fest, Federator N°1 will help keep your feet from sticking to the ground with the funky energy of afrobeat. Originals and arrangements of familiar tunes are at once both deeply traditional and unapologetically modern - maintaining the power of music to speak to today's culture, politics, and music. Federator N°1 will free both your body and your mind.
Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band combines the rich musical history of the circus and the vagabond peoples of Europe with the raw energy of avant-garde jazz, the burning heat of funk and the irreverence and fun of today's Vaudeville for a sound that is somehow familiar yet like no other. Some call them Gypsy Steamfunk – we just call them awesome.
With catchy melodies and giggle-inducing lyrics The Dirty Dottys’ pop-Motown originals and slew of fun cover will have you singing along and grabbing a friend to boogie! This 6 piece group is all about bringing the fun. Get ready to dance!
The ladies of Roque Burlesque have brought their brand of gorgeous, geeky burlesque to New England and beyond since 2009 and are thrilled to fulfill their dreams of being Flufferettes! The award-winning troupe has dazzled live audiences from Boston to the Big Apple and appeared on national television (The Independent Film Channel television series Young, Broke & Beautiful featured them as a quintessential Boston experience). They are members of the Boston Circus Guild, the official stripteasers of the Boston Center for Adult Education, and the creators of the wildly popular Lucky 13 Amateur Burlesque Competition.
Move over Evel Knievel! Wheels-N-Motion BMX Stunt Teamare taking their BMX bikes to Fluff-tastic heights of bravery and skill with a show that features Flatland and Ramp stunts. Can they make it over Fluffernutter Mountain?
Bringing the people's music once again to the Fest, Roy Van will spin the sweet fluffy tunes creating a special soundscape over Somerville Ave
