Union Square Main Streets marked its fifth anniversary with the ultimate contest.  On Wednesday, February 24, 2010  neighbors, political officials and Somerville boosters of every stripe at the Somerville City Club.  In teams of four to five pulled together especially for the event or introduced and joining forces that night, the evening of pub-style headed up by Trivia Master Joe Constantine tested knowledge of all things Somerville.   Beyond the battle of local saavy, the evening featured great music by Black Sea Salsa, good food and a cash bar, along with a raffle.

The big winners of the night were the Bow Street Bombers made up of Kristi Chase, Jim McGinnis, Peter Meese, Nicholas Salerno and State Representative Denise Provost.  The team wins a fluffernutter picnic atop Prospect Hill Tower Monument. Runners-up was Team Indo made up of Ken Kelly, Karyn Coughlin, Jen Lawrence, Anne and Sarah McGuinness.  This team is going to taste a huge variety of Fluff treats as judges at this year's Fluff Festival.
